v1.14.0

UpdatedJun 1, 2026Reading time1 min read

Released 2026-06-01. You can now tell an agent how to fill each tool input — and calibration keeps up as your tools change.

Per-input sourcing for tools and triggers

  • When you allow a platform-tool action or attach a workflow to trigger, each of its inputs now has an optional setting: Custom value (pin a fixed value, typed to the field), Describe to AI (free text telling the agent how to find it — for example, "use the email from the customer's latest message"), or leave it unset.
  • Leave an input unset and the agent decides for itself. An interactive chat agent will simply ask the visitor for it when it needs it.
  • A pinned Custom value always wins over whatever the agent proposes. Secured inputs (passwords, keys) only accept a description — never a stored value — so nothing sensitive is saved on the agent.
  • Optional everywhere; existing agents are unchanged.

Calibration follows your tools

  • The calibration brief now reflects the tools the agent can use and how each input is sourced, so it can reason about what it still needs to ask for.
  • Change an agent's tools or triggers and a dismissible Recalibrate banner appears on the edit page so the brief stays in sync. Dismiss it and it stays gone until the tools change again.

Agent runs in credit history

  • Credit-history entries created by an agent run now link straight to that run — the same as workflow-run entries already do.
