Released 2026-06-01. Agents can now ask your team for information when they get stuck, instead of guessing or failing.
A new kind of approval rule: ask the team
- Every approval rule now has a choice: pause for approval (the existing approve/reject gate) or ask the team for information.
- With "ask the team", when the situation you described comes up and the agent can't work out a value on its own — which account or warehouse to use, an ID, an amount — it pauses and asks your team in plain language.
- There's no approve/reject and no threshold: the run continues the moment anyone replies. You pick who's notified (in-app and by email), and you can let them reply straight from the email without signing in — the same option approvals already have.
Save replies for next time
- When someone answers, they can tick save this for future runs and the answer is kept on the agent — so the next run already knows it and doesn't ask again.
- Saved clarifications live on the agent's edit page, where you can review, edit, or add to them by hand. They're given to the agent as reference information (never as instructions) on every run.
Existing rules are unchanged
- Rules you created before this update keep working exactly as approve/reject gates. Your data export now records which mode each rule used, and includes the saved clarifications.
