Custom Webhook

Overview

Custom Webhook sends an HTTP request to a URL you control—useful for notifying external systems or Zapier-style catch URLs.

How to use

  1. Add a Platform tool task and select Custom Webhook.
  2. Configure the target URL, method, optional headers, and JSON body. Map fields from earlier steps.

For incoming webhooks that start a workflow, use a Webhook trigger instead. See Platform Tool Auth and Webhooks.

Connection

This tool does not require a team connection. Add it as a Platform tool task in your workflow, choose an action, and map inputs from the trigger or previous tasks.

See also Platform Tools and Integrations and the Built-in platform tools overview.
