Using Workflow Templates

UpdatedApr 3, 2026Reading time1 min read

Overview

Workflow templates are pre-built workflows you can use as a starting point. They include triggers, tasks, and structure for common use cases (e.g. send email on form submit, summarize with AI, sync data to a sheet).

Finding templates

From the dashboard or workflow list, open the template library. You can browse by platform tool, AI model, or tag. Each template shows a short description and which integrations it uses.

Creating a workflow from a template

Select a template and choose to create a new workflow from it. The new workflow is a copy you can edit: change the trigger, add or remove tasks, and map your own connections and inputs. The workflow code and versioning work the same as for workflows you create from scratch.

Tips

Use templates to learn patterns (e.g. conditions, loops, parallel tasks) or to get a head start; then customize for your app and data.
