Your plan defines limits such as: number of workflows and forms, resource caps (for example concurrent runs and run duration), and platform tool usage. Usage is tracked per billing period.
User credits (including top-ups) pay for workflow runs and for platform-managed AI when your plan charges for it. A successful run typically draws credits for a base run fee (covers per-run compute), AI model steps, integration calls, and—if an AI step used FlowFn's shared provider keys—token-based platform AI charges at your plan's rate. If your balance is too low to cover the base run fee, new runs are rejected with Insufficient credits until you top up or your next billing cycle starts.
