Getting Started with FlowFn

UpdatedMay 22, 2026Reading time1 min read

Welcome to FlowFn

FlowFn is an automation and workflow platform that lets you build, run, and manage automated processes without writing code. Connect AI models, third-party services, databases, and custom logic into powerful workflows triggered by schedules, APIs, webhooks, or form submissions.

First steps

  1. Sign up or log in with your email — you'll receive a one-time code (no password needed).
  2. Create or join a team. Every user gets a personal team by default.
  3. Create an app to group your workflows. See Apps overview.
  4. Create your first workflow from the dashboard or start from a template.
  5. Connect an integration (e.g. Google, Slack, Stripe, or a database) from Platform Tools.
  6. Run and monitor your workflow from the dashboard. Check run details to debug any issues.

Key concepts

  • Workflows – Sequences of steps (triggers and tasks) that run automatically. See Creating a Workflow.
  • Apps – Containers that group workflows; each has an app code and API key for integrations. See Apps overview.
  • Forms – Collect data from users and trigger workflows on submission. See Creating a Form.
  • Platform Tools – Pre-built connections to 70+ services and APIs. See Platform Tools and Integrations.
  • AI Models – Use AI in workflow tasks for text, image, or video generation and structured output from 12 providers. See Using AI Models.
  • Teams – Collaborate with others; all resources are scoped to a team. See Managing Teams.
  • Visualizers – Push workflow data into live dashboards (tables, charts); share a public link or protect with a password. See Visualizers overview.
